A huge CONGRATULATIONS to junior Sophia Heim for placing SECOND in the state at Forensics State Championship in Extemporaneous Speaking!! She also placed 7th in Informative, only one place away from going into finals! It was a fun (and long) day here in McPherson!
The baseball team cleaned up again against St Paul with two more wins tonight! Also congrats to freshman Thomas Allee who threw a no-hitter tonight with one baserunner reaching on an error. He threw four scoreless innings, striking out three in a 15-0 run rule victory for the first game!
Head Coach Max Mickunas had his meeting yesterday for those interested in playing football next year, so we thought might as well put out the schedule! We can't wait for another season of Friday Night Lights!
Tonight's baseball games have been moved to HOME!
The baseball got another sweep on the night against Yates Center! Also big congratulations to Dominic Smith, who earned his 100th career hit!!
Games scheduled tomorrow May 2nd for high school baseball have been officially moved from St Paul to Marmaton Valley. So tomorrow is another home game starting at 4:30.
School Physical's will be May 7th.
As of right now, baseball is still set to take on Yates Center tonight!

JH Track Update, the meet for today in Uniontown has been canceled. It will not be rescheduled.

HS Track was in Jayhawk-Linn this evening. Only part of the team went but there were still great results!
The All Sports Banquet will be May 13, 2025 at 6:30p! Sports being recognized will be: Football 🏈 Volleyball 🏐 Cross Country 🏃🏻♂️ Basketball 🏀 Cheer 📣 Scholar Bowl 🧠 Track 🏃🏻 Forensics 🎭 Baseball ⚾️ Other groups/activities will be recognized at this week's Honors Assembly.
HS Track starts the week off with their meet at Jayhawk-Linn!
Saturday was Moran's FIRST Community Movie Night hosted by MVHS KAY Club, ACMAT, & Wild Bloom! We had about 35 people and hope to continue to grow this opportunity for our community.
A BIG shout out to Wild Bloom & ACMAT for helping make the KAY Club Officers' idea come to fruition! We had 2 awesome candy charcuterie boards, candy cups, popcorn, and blue raspberry lemonade (with Glitter!😉) for all to enjoy...for FREE!
