We hope everyone has had a wonderful Thanksgiving break. Marmaton Valley will be closed on Tuesday, December 2, to allow staff to attend the funeral of our colleague and friend, Joyce Storrer.
Thanks to the Marmaton Valley teachers, staff, students and families we were able to donate almost 1,000 non-perishable items to the Elsmore food shelter right before Thanksgiving. Thank you everyone for all you do. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Marmaton Valley was well represented last night at the 18th Annual Thrive Allen County Banquet! First, a huge congratulations to senior Sophia Heim for being named Changemaker of the Year!! Junior Andie Carr was also nominated in the category. Teacher Halie Luken was also a nominee but in Excellence in Education.
Senior Emily Robertson and Junior Brendon Newman were selected as student speakers. Robertson was even the speaker to present Heim's award!
And of course, freshman Emma Louk went in support!
