Make your dinner plans next Thursday a trip to Iola Elks Lounge! They are hosting a lasagna dinner (includes lasagna, garlic bread, corn, and dessert) where all proceeds go to the MV Special Olympic team. $10 a plate!

Due to hosting a home playoff football game on Friday night, the play has moved their performance to Saturday where we will have an early afternoon and an evening showing. Hope to see you all there.

Here is the game info for tonight's matchup against Central Heights. Note that the Boys have been split into two gyms and that the B Team Girls are only playing 3 quarters. Both gyms begin at 4:30p!

The sophomores are at Emporia State University today!

We're only a couple days away from our next game day! And thanks to Ty & Nicole Lord of the Lord Cattle Company, the first 20 students to the game have been paid for! If you would like to sponsor for more students to get into the game, please call Hali Drake in the HS Office!
(Students need to enter through the east entrance of the game in order to receive free admission)

Friday, November 1st, the Marmaton Valley High School Kansas Association for Youth, also known as KAY Club, held their 8th annual “Trick Or Treat So They Can Eat” event in Moran. The community was very supportive and generously donated non-perishable items and toiletries. The MVHS KAY Club members and officers trick-or-treated around town for an hour to gather goods and then went to the school to sort items and share in cookies, hot chocolate, and apple cider. This year, we were able to donate over 600 items and $255 to Hope Unlimited. We appreciate the help and support of all of those who participated in any way. We especially want to thank our volunteer drivers Wendee Bennett, Kent LaRue, Sheila Jefferis, and Brad Barrere. We couldn’t have done it without you!

MVHS KAY Club is excited to host our FIRST EVER blood drive! This is something we have wanted to do and have been in the plans for a few years now...we are excited to see it finally come to fruition! PLEASE share with your friends and family. Our goal is to fill ALL of the time slots in efforts to earn scholarship money for MVHS graduating seniors who help volunteer.
Thank you in advance for helping us help others!

With the football team reaching the state playoffs, some photos have been recently shared with us and we wanted to share them with everyone!
Pictured are two Wildcat football teams. The first is the team from 1974. There were 54 players in the team. They were 8-1 on the season. Had two All State players, Mike Jackman and Bobby Rhodes. Honorable mentions were David French and Sam Kuns. Players are grandparents of current players like Cooper Scharff, Kaden McVey, and Brayden and Ethan Lawson. Also uncles of Assistant Coach Gavin Coles.
The second is the team from 2012. Not sure on accolades but had a sibling of current player Dominic Smith. The team was the last to win the district title before this year.
