Thank you Tabitha for bringing N.E.D. to our school yesterday. Pre-K through 6th grade students listened to a great message from Tabitha about N=Never give up E=Encourage others D=Do your best. This was a very entertaining show and we are excited to have them back next year. Remember that Yo-Yos are still for sale in the school offices until Monday 10/24.




Great time had by all 5th-8th grade band members who attended a show by the Topeka Symphony Orchestra yesterday. Thank you Mrs. Allee for making this opportunity possible.

“J” is for Jellyfish! MVE students have been busy making “J”ellyfish for an Alphabet Exchange with 25 other schools across the country and Canada. Each school is responsible for a letter and will have a complete pictorial alphabet to display at the end of this fun project!!!!



Bill Johnston of the Kansas Corn Commission shared a lesson about agriculture with the 3rd grade class on Friday. Many questions asked and stories shared!!


Just a reminder that Senior night for Cross Country, Football and Volleyball will be tonight at the football game. Parents will be asked to lineup in the Southwest corner of the football field at 6:15 and Senior night will begin right at 6:30. Instructions will be given on the field. Hope to see everyone there.

Along with the baskets, there will be a yearbook table set up tonight for alumni night! There are a number of past books to preview but also for sale. Check out the list below!

NED is Coming to our school on Tuesday 10/18/2022 to put on an assembly to all K-6 students. There will be Yo-Yos for sale after the presentation for short time. Order forms will be left in the HS and Elem offices

To celebrate the last Middle School Cross Country, Volleyball, and Football game, the pep club is sponsoring a Middle School Spirit Week! This is for middle school students only!
If your student is in grades 6-8, have them participate because each day, the pep club is picking a winner which will be announced at the high school pep rally Friday!
