The class trips to different institutions wrapped up today with the freshman visiting Ottawa University! They had a great time and even got to play a quick game of kickball!

Today's spotlight is the leader of College Kindergarten herself, Mrs. Ferguson!

Great Job JH Boys A Team on another win!

JH Girls had a tough match against Uniontown tonight. They will play Southeast Thursday at home.

The 10th Grade Class visited Wichita State University today! A reminder that this trip is just one of the handful of trips Mrs. Lawson takes with each grade (8-11) to different institutions to expose them to the possibilities after graduation.

It's a Terrific Tuesday as Mr. Cole is today's staff spotlight!

And the JH boys complete the sweep! Not only did the C and B teams win, but the A team won in DOUBLE OVERTIME! Congratulations to all!
They're at it again tomorrow night against Uniontown!

Congratulations to the JH Girls Basketball team for winning both their A & B team games against Yates Center tonight!

Congratulations to all of the band members who auditioned yesterday for the Southeast KMEA District band. This is an all classifications audition and Marmaton Valley had 2 students qualify, beating out a lot of larger school students. Mason Ferguson received the highest score of all trombones and will be the first chair. Brendon Newman will be the 2nd chair out of all tubas. They were judged based on rubrics. Judges don't know names or see them...they perform select scales, 2 excerpts and a sight reading piece they have 15 seconds to look at then play. Both boys will attend the Honors concert on Dec, 2nd. This also qualifies them to travel to Salina in January so that they can audition for the All-State band.

Here are the scores from last night's JH Boys Basketball at Southeast. Congrats B Team on the win!

Today's spotlight is for Miss Blythe!

Tonight's scores from JH Girls Basketball at Southeast! Graphic made by the Graphic Design MTSS!

The 8th Grade Class visited Fort Scott Community College this morning! A reminder that this trip is just one of the handful of trips Mrs. Lawson takes with each grade (8-11) to different institutions to expose them to the possibilities after graduation.

Starting with the one and only Mrs. Shadden, Miss Luken's Graphic Design MTSS will start posting Staff Spotlights! They will begin with covering all certified staff then move to classified! Great work and design students!
