We weren't able to get a team photo last night but we wanted to officially recognize the 7th grade boys team for being Three Rivers League Champs!
We also want to recognize the new school records that were placed this season. Emma Louk beat her own 7th grade 3200 M run record with a time of 13:27.74. Clara Ferguson, again, has the shotput record of 36'8.85". With the new event of Turbo Javelin, Ferguson also holds the record with 85'11" for 7th grade girls. Kooper Welch has the 7th grade boys Turbo Jav record of 87'11" and Bryant Uhlrich has the record for eighth grade with 92'05".
High School Track for Thursday May 2nd at Humboldt has been canceled.

The baseball team start their three game week with two wins over Oswego! Don't forget they travel to Yates Center tomorrow for their make up game.

LesLeigh Cary and Hunter Doolittle did very well today! Both received 1 Ratings at the KSHSAA State Solos @ Hesston College. A one rating is the highest you can score. It is at the superior level. Good job to the both of you and Mrs Allee.
As of right now we are planning on having JH and HS track practice today 4/26/2024. Baseball practice for today has been canceled though.

To celebrate the end of the school year, still raise funds for nationals, and show support for one of our own, the MVHS Forensics is hosting a FAMILY GAME NIGHT!
Come to the Commons on May 15th, 2024 from 5:30-8:30pm and play games with your friends and family! There will also be a Pulled Pork Free Will Donation Dinner thanks to the support of Sharky's Pub & Grub of Iola. Proceeds from the dinner will go to our own Barb Lutz to help with her family's medical expenses!
