Very cool opportunity for our head football coach Max Mickunas. Not only is he the head coach for this year's 8-man all star team, he now gets the opportunity to speak at the KEMFA conference. Congrats coach Mickunas!
Last night, the National Honor Society inducted nine students to their organization and recognized six seniors!

Forensics traveled to Fort Scott today. Colin Ard, Lily Mynatt and Kylie Whitcomb made it to the final round! They placed sixth in Informative Speaking and Duet Acting, respectively.
They now have a two week break where their next meet is the one they'll host themselves! If you or anyone you know is interested in being a judge, please reach out to Coach Halie Luken!

The City of Moran has lost power and it is unclear of when it will come back or how long it will stay on. Due to this, school has been canceled!

Forensics has their first state qualifier! Congratulations to Sophia Heim who placed second in Extemporaneous Speaking at Pittsburg! She also placed 5th in Original Oration.

Things have slowed down a little with the end of basketball but Spring Sports are just beginning and we still have Forensics, FFA, and the School Carnival this week!

Meetings for students interested in Track (JH & HS) and Baseball (Baseball) have occurred the last couple of days and practices for both start next Monday! Participants will be/have been given signup information for our communication app, SportsYou. Make sure to join your team to see practice times and other things throughout the season!

The first round of substate is TONIGHT! Come out and support our boys as they take on Sedan. A reminder that NO PASSES are accepted as this a post-season event. Fortunately, thanks to the MV Booster Club, the first 50 students get in for free!
First Round of Substate is tomorrow here against Sedan. Game time is 6:00 pm and remember that we have to charge KSHSAA entry so Adults are $8 and students are $6. No passes will be accepted.
